MD Anderson Nurse Residency 2020

Hello,

Which unit did you apply for? I applied to several units that had the Clinical nurse residency Program but have not heard back from them yet. I keep calling HR but they say that once the application status says "Interview In process" to give them a call. I'm getting kind of nervous, It has been over a month since I have applied and I know one person who already had an interview and got offered a job. She said they are doing interviews in batches and she was lucky enough to be in the first batch.

Hello! And interviewed for the Endocrine/GU/GI floor, my interview was over a month ago and I haven’t heard back either. I’ve called HR multiple times and left voicemails but haven’t heard anything back.. and yeah same, I have classmates that have already accepted positions on different floors

Oh okay. I have applied to Medical, Surgical, Hematology, Medical Oncology, and Gynecology & Radiation. I am hoping they are just backed up with applicants and will get back to everyone soon!

I know someone that accepted a job with hematology, and I applied to those as well! best of luck to the both of us

Hey guys, I was wondering how do you see what unit you applied for on your application? I have only been applying for pediatrics, but now I’m worried it was general. My application says “clinical nurse residency”. I have my interview tomorrow and it has been over a month since I applied so my memory is a bit fogged. I only applied to MD hoping I get a Pediatrics position, but honestly I’m open to anything with this organization.

Hello and it just says "clinical nurse residency" not a specific unit. I actually just accepted the job on the floor endocine/GU/GI! it wasn't until I accepted the job that the specific unit showed up on my account

congrats on the offer! I still have not heard back but not losing hope just yet ?

Thank you! And no please don’t lose hope because it literally took me a month and a week before I heard back, I waited a loooong time. Once it’s been like 3 weeks I would definitely send a follow up email or call asking the status. Best of wishes!
