I could take the LPN course and then if I wanted to come back for the RN course, I would only have the take the 6 or so classes to make up the difference. I think he said I would pay a 'per class' price.

Has anyone out there done this?

I've read other threads where some of you are saying that MCI doesn't even take it's own credits - this makes me wonder if I was given some bad information.

Also, I have one more question, I have an appointment to go back there to take some tests (he said it would take about 2 hours) - is this the infamous TEAS? If so, I'm a little worried that I should have studied for it. help?

Specializes in sitting in class.

Call and ask for the head advisor. She seems to either know what's going on- or be able to get answers for you.

Good luck.

I'm an MCI grad. If you desire an RN license, please apply to the RN course.

To the user "blackhundred". How was the MCI experience for you at Newport News? That's where I'd go if I decide on this program. I'm struggling between less time (MCI) or more hands on clinicals with RSPN. Also, are you working as an RN now, was it hard to find a job?

Thanks for any help you can give me!
