Hello, I just wanted to start a thread for those who plan on applying to the CNL program at the Medical College of Georgia next year (Fall 2011).
I copied and pasted the email from January that Ms. Mitchell sent us. It includes the email address that you should send your essay to.
Good morning,
Thank you for your application to our program. I received several calls regarding the essay question so I am sending this e-mail to confirm which essay question you should answer.
On the application checklist, there is a statement - "Please describe 1) why you are pursuing a career in nursing and 2) how your previous experiences will enhance your ability to perform in a clinical nurse leader (CNL) role."
This is the correct topic for your essay. You do not need to provide an essay on Part V of the application requesting autobiographical and experience information.
If you feel that the essay you submitted does not address the correct topic, please submit a new essay as soon as possible to [email protected]. In the body of the e-mail, list your name and ID number. Also, state that the attached essay is to be added to your application as a replacement.
Thanks,
Olivia
I stumbling across a few sentences and kinda going in circles when asked why I wanna be a cnl. Then at the end I mentioned I was nervous. So hopefully they know I'm not usually like stumbling across words. I can't wait to near back from them. I have turned everything in so I hope I'll hear by this Friday.

I cannot remember the exact question they asked. I think it was why do you want to be a CNL or something like that. The interview is only 15 minutes so the time goes by quickly. She will let you answer questions at the end if time permits. I did mine over the phone and only 1 person was asking questions. Hope this helps and good luck!
