Mayo New Grad Residency Feb 2017

Does anyone have any idea when Mayo will open the application period for the Feb 2017 Nurse Residency Program? I'm pretty sure it will be in the next couple of weeks but currently the website is still showing information for July 2016...

I'm in the program now and got that email before I got the call that I had been offered a position. It's not a for sure sign, but it definitely means you are still in the running. Congrats!!

I think they might be behind on the website updates because mine changed before I had the interview. They will let you know either way.

My status changed too! No emails or calls yet, keeping my fingers crossed:). It's still early, so I'm going to remain optimistic.

Now I'm worried because I didn't get a background check email... but I did the externship so is there a possibility they just used that background check since it was this year?? Seriously I feel like the anticipation is the worst part. I really hope we find out this week!

Sorry Brittany, I meant I hope that we hear something this week too. I did not have a chance to apply to the extern program, but I heard from several people that it was a great experience.

I read in last year's thread that they send the background check email out in waves. So if you didn't receive it yesterday, there is still chance. Stay positive! =)
