Hey everyone! I just accepted a job offer from the Mayo Clinic, and I start on July 2, 2018. I guess there is a cohort of nurses that start at that time. We all take classes together, etc. Is anyone else in this group? I was just hoping to start a conversation so we can get to know each other better. This is for the Rochester, MN campus.
Hey NurseKO93, that's super exciting about your interview!! Congrats. I had such a great time in my interview, I'm sure you'll do well. What unit are you interviewing for?I hot hired on a PCU medical cardiology floor. It's definitely my dream job!
Good luck! For me, the people who interviewed me were so nice, and made me feel super comfortable. No need to worry too much!
How long after your interview did you end up receiving the offer?
Hey CopperBoom63, have you heard back about any jobs yet?
Hi, Andy. Thanks for asking! I have not heard anything yet -- my status still says "application in review" for both positions I applied for. I'm starting to think it just may not happen for me. I'm pretty disappointed, but I have 3 interviews coming up this week for local hospitals here in NY, so at least that's something! Also, sorry for the delayed response, I had a huge test I was studying for all week! (We all know that struggle!)

I totally get it! We're all in that test-mode right now! haha.
If Mayo is what you want, keep applying. The recruiter that I talked with gave me the same advice. If it's something you want, you'll get it. Good luck, and keep us updated!
Hi everyone! How long after you applied to Mayo did you receive a call from them to interview? I have applied to 4 positions so far (Feb. 24th, Feb. 27th. March 2, and March 5th) and have not heard anything.. I have read that some people hear back within just a few days.
I also applied to four positions, however, Mayo contacted me for the first one I applied for which was on February 15. I got called March 2nd for that application so about two weeks-ish

Hey there! Thanks for all of your help and support. I was offered a few positions here locally and ultimately decided to take a job in a Level IV NICU here in New York. I am very excited for the opportunity, and I wish you all the best of luck as your pursue careers at Mayo!
Wow congrats to you CopperBoom63!!! That's awesome. I'm sure it was very competitive to get that new grad NICU spot especially in New York. I actually just received an offer here in San Diego in a Medical ICU at a magnet hospital as well, but i'm still gonna interview and learn more about Mayo :)

Thank you so much! I am beyond excited for this opportunity. And congrats to you on your job offer as well! This is such an exciting time for all of us, and I'm sure everyone will end up right where they belong.

That's awesome blasa1127, best of luck to you as well! I wonder how many positions they're hiring for. Hopefully there's room for both of us :)
