I got nights but not 5c!

Nope, but I was told not to tell because unit managers don't know who they are getting yet. I wasn't too bummed about my placement, becuase patient to nurse ratios seem very consistent with them. In Illinois the ratios are absurd.

I know pay is higher for nights and things are more chill, but I hate night shift. I also like the amount of resources available during the day shift.

I also wonder if that pay increase for Mayo employees means us too. The increase 6-9% goes into effect Jan 4th. Look it up.

It's allied staff so maybe not....we'll see

I read another article said it does include nurses and maintenance workers

I’m on nights too! I didn’t get any of the units on my list but im happy to have the experience at mayo over the small hospitals in my hometown. Which unit is 5c?

I mean I am in Phoenix, AZ. 5C is “neuro/ENT”

is anyone applying for the AZ license from a non-compact state? I haven't gotten my ATT yet and im getting worried because of the feb 20th start date.

I got my IL license and applied Nov 24th for AZ. All things have been verified in my application except my fingerprint for background checks. People say that takes 5-8 weeks. However if you fly to AZ and do your electronic printing I think you can get a same day temporary one or your actual in like 2 days.

how long did it take for them to verify your application after u applied on Nov 24th?

I am and still have not received my ATT number yet? Also getting very worried.

OK im sooo glad im not alone!! I am trying to stay positive but I feel like the process is so slow.

I know! I called Pearson Vue and my State Board of Nursing this morning to see what's up and they weren't very helpful LOL.
