how long did it take for them to verify your application after u applied on Nov 24th?

I got a notice of deficiency Dec 22nd because I forgot to upload my license. But next day there was a check mark around all parts that were verified except the print part which people say tends to be the longest part of you don't fingerprint in-state electronically

I do think if you going and have your offer letter they try to expedite things. I will do that if it's not ready when I get there by February 1st. All my HR appointments are on the 3rd.

It's roughly 2-3 weeks since you graduate and your school sent your stuff so those emails are like rolling in this week if you did your part.

All parts of my application except fingerprint were cleared in 4 weeks. I talked to the AZ Nursing Board. They confirmed they got my fingerprints that I sent . She said that process takes 8-12 weeks.

However she said if we have an offer letter, we can applying for a temporary license for $50 which is good for 6 months or until prints come back and then it becomes your permanent.

Here are the steps:

1. Go to the AZ Nursing Board Page but DO NOT LOG-IN TO YOUR PORTAL

2. Look at the light blue header and find "SERVICES"

3. Select "Online Payment Gateway"

4. Select the "OTHER" button on the page

5. Fill out the form on the page. In the "License Number" box write "TEMPRN"

6. Then you will pay, $50 + $3 service fee and the license will be issued in 48 hours

HOPE THAT HELPS YOU ALL!

My license was issued today!

So excited to meet you all soon! I'm taking my NCLEX Friday so I still have one last thing to do before I move to AZ

I completed all of my HR related appointments including reasonable accommodation paperwork for Mayo. The placement coordinator notified me Friday he needed to speak with me on the phone. He wouldn't get back to me until today.

Today, I was notified that my offer at Mayo Clinic was rescinded. It was because " My restrictions would not allow me to perform the essential job functions.”

What did I ask for? I asked for a 1 person assist with lifts greater than 50 lbs or use of mechanical lift equipment which everyone does/should use and what we are taught to prevent workplace injuries. We have literally been trained and taught in every orientation I have been in to use the accommodations I requested. I am 4'8" with past history of Cushing's Disease.

Unfortunately there are many people that have a warped perception of what a person living with disabilities looks like. I went through and entire nursing program, was in critical care and other specialties with vulnerable populations, so how do you deduce that I cannot perform the job functions. My last employer wouldn't have allowed me to be in the ICU of all places where 99% of the patients are immobile FULL-TIME FOR A YEAR if I was incapable.

I honestly prayed last night to God to dismantle whatever was building a place in my life that should not be there. He did, and I am grateful. I ultimately told God, please put me where I am welcomed and needed. My heart and head feel much lighter. I guess Mayo was jut he catalyst I needed for God to push me to move like I always wanted to.

All this being said. You all do not do lifts of anything or people and risk injuring you back. If you see someone attempting, join in and help. You also should take advantage of the mechanical lifts when available. Good luck and advocate for you safety.
