Has anyone applied for next fall? Just looking for fellow applicants!

Thank you! No, the Kira Assessment was not a requirement, and apparently they also changed their minimum GPA requirement to 3.25, when last year it was 3.0.

Oh shoot no way, thankfully my GPA clears! How was the interview process with the school? I wonder if the Kira replaces the interview or it's a pre interview to see if you'll get invited for an in person

My best guess is that it's a pre-interview to give them a better idea of who to invite for in-person interviews. But I'm really not sure. I'm also not sure if the interview day will look the same this year, but for us, it was a full day at Mayo, which started as an information session. Then, half the people went to the interview portion and half went on a tour/got to talk to faculty. It was a lovely day. It was a really thoughtful way of allowing all the interviewees a chance to "interview" the school to determine if it's a good fit for our needs.

Yeah, I really liked it! I was one of the last to interview on the final day, and I left the interview feeling really good. During the first half of the day, we had a tour where I got to ask the faculty a lot of questions, then we had lunch and came back for the interviews. The faculty who interviewed me were super nice! I felt a bit overwhelmed when I got there and I saw all the other applicants but I turned nervousness into excitement and everything went smoothly. Be kind, confident, proactive and dress professionally.
