I was also accepted! Congratulations to everyone! I'm feeling so grateful.

Congrats everyone on the acceptance!

I don't know if this is a good thing or bad thing, but I was given an alternate position. Does anyone know what the likelihood of being accepted as an alternate is?

Is anyone else going to be relocating to attend the program?

I am probably going to try to rent a room or an apartment for part time use. I live in the twin cities with my husband and 3 kids and plan to commute, and stay in Rochester when needed. I anticipate staying in Rochester anywhere from 2-5 days per week depending on clinical schedules and weather. We don't want to uproot our kids and we need the family support to help with daycare so we don't plan to move.

Congratulations on getting on the alternate list! That's a wonderful accomplishment! That means they want you and just don't have enough spots! People get accepted of alternate lists all the time! I can't speak about Mayo specifically but I know with other programs it happens a lot! Don't lose hope!!

Did anybody create a Facebook group for the class of 2028?
