Hello, I recently applied to Mayo Clinic's RN residency program in Arizona. I am wondering if there is anyone else out there who has applied... Hoping we can stay in contact with interview prospects and acceptances!

Congrats to everyone who has received an offer. Unfortunately, I did not. However, I did accept a position on the CV Surgical PCU at another location. For those who did not have an offer, good luck on your job hunt! It will happen :-)

Hello everyone, I am currently a BSN student at ASU graduating in December. This opportunity sounds super competitive, but fantastic! Are you aware if there will be a similar program offered in 2015? If anyone has pointers on where to find out about the application timeframe and process for 2015, I would love some direction. Thanks, and congrats to those of you who received offers this year!

They still have the 2014 info up, but if you click on "How to Apply" it says this

Please visit the Nursing Jobs Web page for available programs. Search using the position title "
RN
Residency." If this program is not available, you may click "Email jobs to me." You'll be notified via email when future Nurse Residency Program positions become available.

Since applications for this year were only open for three days, I would either sign up for the email option or watch like a hawk in early spring for updated information. Or both :)

Hi, congratulation on getting a residency position at Mayo! I am planning on applying for the next one in early 2015. I was wondering if they ask for letters of recommendation, just so I can give professors advance notice. Thank you very much and congrats again!

Yes, they do ask for letters of recommendation, transcripts, a cover letter, resume, and I don't remember what else. It is a HIGHLY competitive program. The cohort that started July 14 consists of 22 nurse residents. There were 1700 applications submitted. The next program begins in February 2015, but I am not sure when the application period starts. The program is wonderful and very extensive.
