Has anyone here ever posted a response to a thread and it never showed up in Blackboard? There have been a few times that I swear I've posted the required follow up posts and then later when its graded, I get docked for no responses. Of course I can't find the post on BB when I do a search but I sure have it in Word I have even gone through each thread individually instead of using the search button and can't find it.
It may be just me, I'm tired and taking too many classes at once, but I could have SWORE I posted two follow ups, but a few times I got docked for not doing this. I don't remember exactly which posts I did this on, but I'm going to have to write down exactly when, who and where I copied and pasted my follow up posts from Word. I should have done that before anyways, but I didn't think I would have a problem like this. I just wondered if it was just me and I'm nuts or if this has happened to anyone else.

I have not had this particular issue. However, I did have other issues with Blackboard this time around. There were posts that would show up all screwy, missing parts of my paragraphs, and having strike through lines going through part of my posts.

It hasn't happend to me - but my TA wrote in an announcement that it has been happening to others. Go to the discussions section, click on the week's discussion you are working on. That will bring up all responses to that particular subject. At the top of the page, there are two green boxes - pick the one that says something about grading information. That will take you to a page with all of your responses for a particular discussion. That way you can check that your responses are actually in the system and not floating out somewhere in cyberspace. I do this after I post - everytime. It will save you some heartache.
Good to know. Thanks for the info.

I think this happened to me, but I figured I just forgot and went to my word document and reposted it. It was before the deadline and so there was no problem. I do have issues with the formatting of the refrences.. they do not copy and paste to blackboard like I set them up i!n Word. It is so frustrating. ONe of them I retyped into blackboard and made some mistakes that weren't on my Word copy. That is very frustrating!
Thanks for reminding me about how to do this, I completely forgot about it.
