Hello, i took 265 Q's,,i had about 15-20 SATAs, 3-5 Med Calc, mostly direct general questions..i only had about umm 5 pharma, 1 drag and drop/arrange in order, and prioritizing..

i felt relieved but at the same time anxious and nervous with my results.. :)

how bout u?

Oh gosh...my friend told me at work that they are anticipating on me taking the exam...of course they,ve been betting if I will pass or not... Thats so rude! Evrybody at work thinks I cannot pass the exam. I only took the exam the exam once and failed. Now Im gonna try again... It makes me more stressful now that people at work wants me to fail. :bluecry1:

I am still trying to finish the hurst review content. And I tried to take the practice test on saunders comprehensive review cd. I got 66% on the assessment.:( Now I feel more nervous and so anxious as to take the exam on the 28th. I guess I have to reschedule it on June 3rd.

I dont know whats wrong with me. Im so sensitive to what other people are saying.... I really need to pass this. I pray everyday to the Lord, to help me forget what people are saying and help me to concentrate on the review. My family are hoping too that I will pass this exam. I feel like stupid that they talked behind me. Those people who I thought were my friend. :(:bluecry1:

How will I know if I amready to take the exam. How should I score in the saunders comprehensive review cd Q &A. Should I score at least 75% for me to be able to take the exam? Please help I am confused again....:banghead:

that's so rude!!anyways, try to take off at your work before taking the exam so u can relax..dont mind what other people say..you can do it..trust in the Lord and trust in yourself :)

Thanks! I am actrually in the library, I try to study 8 hours a day on the weekdays and on th eweek ends onbly a few hours so that I can spend my time with my 2 babies and my husband, plus go to the church on SUndays.

You see, the problem at work, people doesnt want somebody to be succesful, you know what i MEAN, THERE IS STILL THE JEALOUSY thats been ruling on our floor as who is better. I graduated as BSN in the Philippines last 2006. After graduation I came here in florida. I did not take the exam ASAP becuase we were still relocating here. Besides I didnt know how to apply here for the NCLEX RN plus I have to wait for my papers from the school to send it here internationally. Then I got pregnant so I have to delay my review. Well, I tried to do the exam last Ocotber but failed. I tried Kaplan twice but it did not work for me. So I am doing the hurst review content. I say they are very good rebview they deliver the review in a simple terms. With saunders I am having difficulty understanding the book maybe becuase I am lazy to read books... I hate to read long explanations. At least with hurst, I find it more simple and understandable.

Whats your suggestion I will just reschedule my exam on june 3rd? I havent finish my content yet I still have 6 topics to review. When Im finish with that I plan to do Q&A already in different authors. But I need at least 2 weeks to do that thats why Iam planning to do the exam on june 3rd.

KABAYAN!hehe..im from the philippines too :) nweiz, it's just up to you..it's your call, if you think you're not ready then go ahead and reschedule..follow your instinct :) i was like that days before i took mine..but i said what they hey and get over it..man, i didnt know people are so prejudice in FL..is this your first time taking it??

i used saunders comprehensive review for studying..i answered the practice questions every other chapter..and if i passed 75% i dont go back and read it..but if i fall 75%, that's when i go back and read the chapter..saunders book is like the kaplan..from my point of view..coz when i took kaplan they gave us the book (which i never read) and just did questions online..and much to my surprise..i failed the first time..that's when i decided to read the book and answer 100q's day atleast..

Spending 8 hours a day studying sounds like a lot. I worked full time and did on average 2 hours when working and 4 when not. This still gives you time for a family life. I would suggest you practise questions making sure you understand what is being asked and read the rationales. Try not to overload your brain, give it chance to understand and assimilate what you are learning

hello kababayan! :D Well, they are prejudice here! Actually i stay in the library for 8 hours but of course i take my breaks, mostly searching on the web or writing here in this website:typing

This will be my second try... WHat I am doing now is that reading the content in the hurst review then doing the saunders comprehensive review questionares CD. Evry topic I answer the questions but Im in doubt becuase I only score 55%-67%. Although what the hurst says is we should get more correct than wrong answers. So I am still confused. I am so behind and I am scheduled on the 28th. I always chek on the pearson vue for the schedulling just to make sure that spot is till open. I still cannot decide whether to take that June 3 becuase the only available time is 8am and Im not a morning person. So I was thinking to re schedule my exam on the weekend just to make sure I finish all the content this week.

How many questions should I do starting May 24 before June 3rd? And when will I stop reviewing before my exam? Should it be one day or 2 days before since Im cramming on reviewing already this week?????
