May be getting moved back to bedside

I have been away from the bedside for about four years, working in professional development. Our COVID unit is straining resources and there are whispers today that the managers are asking educators to be mobilized for bedside shifts. Needless to say, I have pretty mixed feelings about this. I have missed the bedside a great deal.

My question is what should I expect in terms of orientation? Any pitfalls to look out for and requests I should be making?
