Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hi All,

I applied for the LPN to RN program at Massasoit for Sept 2015. Does anyone know when we will hear from them. Also does anyone know what the schedules are like?!

Thank You:)

Im already accepted to Brockton Hospital school of nursing, was hoping for massasoit because it's cheaper but i will take bhson, good luck!

I made the wait list, so i made an appointment to see where i am on it

"Don't be surprised if your closer on that list than they said. One poster who started last year was waitlisted, they told her she was #8 on the list, when they went over her grades, they had missed one, and then she was moved up to #1. She will be graduating next year because of course, someone canceled and she got their spot. I don't now if you believe in God or not, but it doesn't hurt to pray, and thanks for keeping us up to date."

Yup, this was me!! I am so thankful that I went in and went over my rubric because I never would have found the mistake. Don't give up... even to the last minute, some don't let the school know that they are declining their spot and even the first week you might get a call. =)

I am in the evening program and will be graduating in 2017.

Fingers crossed for you. BHSON is a great (but expensive) school. My first two semesters were at BH and my last clinical instructor is BHSON faculty. Hoping you get that last minute call. Were you able to find out what number on the wait list you are?

I was number 2 on the lpn to rn day, but they called and i'm in! All registered to start nursing 4 in september! And wow i cant believe how much cheaper it is then BHSON!

See I told you, go in and find out where you are. I'm so excited for you, sounds like we'll be in class together, hoo hoo!! See you Monday at the bridge course.

Yes i will see you monday!

Hi everyone congratulations to everyone starting and dont give up your dream if you didnt get in. I graduated from the day program last year. Well worth it! I have decided to sell my fundamental s books. Both of them. You need it for every lab and for all basic nursing skills. If interested, best to text me at 5089222443. I am selling both books for 50.

Sincerely

Bridget

So i need advice!!!

I graduated the lpn program at massbay in june and i am taking my boards soon. if i pass i want to go to quincy or massasoit for the lpn to rn program starting in fall 2017.

i have all a's in prerequisites (en1,en2,sociology,psych,lifespan psych, ,criminal psych, nutrition, med terminology, anatomy/physiology 1&2, microbiology, biology, computers, and stats maybe a b if i'm lucky!!

so what i'm wondering is should i apply to both schools? for a back up? massasoit all i have to do is take the teas and then for quincy i have to take an intersession class in january (history/govt) and maintain a c. then i will apply.... how likely do you think i is that i get accepted?? i'd rather go to massasoit to save money but they don't accept a lot of students (maybe 10) whereas quincy is So much more expensive but they accept around 30.

someone help!

If I were you I'd apply anywhere and everywhere don't put all ya eggs in one basket it can take a little bit to get into any school it really depends on the quality of applicants the year you apply. I just finally got into massasoit this is my third year applying.
