Nursing Students School Programs
Published Mar 8, 2015
Hi All,
I applied for the LPN to RN program at Massasoit for Sept 2015. Does anyone know when we will hear from them. Also does anyone know what the schedules are like?!
Thank You:)

I didn't get accepted
Oh no I am sorry hun..... did you get on the waiting list?
Yeah that makes no sense .... you should call and ask what your scoring was
Rnhopeful.... just to reply to your comment that days is the "hard one to get into"... that is alittle ridiculous that you just wrote that after people are saying they weren't admitted into the program and could be hurtful... both programs are competitive yes days enters less lpns but they are equally hard to get into... we all take the same classes and work as work on letters teas etc

Lauvar, i'm sure Rnhopeful didn't mean it like that... I'm sure she meant it's harder to get into because they accept less :)

That wasn't meant to offend anyone. In fact if you read most people's threads who applied to evenings, that is the reason they say they do, because the likely hood of getting a seat out of 40, gives a better chance than getting a seat out of 10. Just look at the difference in tuition? It's almost twice the day program.
And yes you're in deed correct, we all work hard that is a factual statement, but unfortunately not everyone will get in and that includes me. I have a great GPA but my TEAS score suck! So obviously the people who got in did something a bit different/better than I did. I just have to pick myself up, move on and try again next year. Everyone on here is a winner, we become losers when we decide to give up!
If my factual statement offended anyone I sincerly apologise.
Anyway, I'm on campus now and swung by admissions and they are still going through the applicants for days because supposedly the points are so close it's taking them a longer time to sort out who gets in.
Thank you very much for seeing that I wasn't trying to undermine anyone.
Oh oh read my post, they are still going through grades for your day program so there's hope yet :)
good luck
I didn't take offense to anything anyone said. I'm sure everyone's on edge either waiting to hear or if they got accepted or didn't get accepted. Everyone worked hard and for some reason or another it isn't going to work out for everyone this year and I'm one of those people. So we have to just continue to support each other. People who weren't accepted your not alone and we can try agian, people waiting to hear goodluck, people that got accepted congrats. If you didn't get accepted or if you got wait listed I encourage you to set up a meeting with admissions to see where you stand or why you weren't accepted. I just set up my appointment. Goodluck everyone!!
That's the attitude of a winner!!
Don't be surprised if your closer on that list than they said. One poster who started last year was waitlisted, they told her she was #8 on the list, when they went over her grades, they had missed one, and then she was moved up to #1. She will be graduating next year because of course, someone canceled and she got their spot. I don't now if you believe in God or not, but it doesn't hurt to pray, and thanks for keeping us up to date.
I wish you the best
Ok check your program of study and/or the unofficial transcript; mine just changed!!
Congratulations! Mine hasn't changed so i'm assuming i didn't get in 😒
So wait for your letter and see if it's rejection or wait listed. Either way go in and speak with them to see where you went wrong and what can be improved.
last year I got a rejection letter, but it wasn't because of my grades, it was because I hadn't finished all my courses in time, so even though I had completed every class by April, they weren't in the calculation.
Don't give up! If this is something you really want you have to fight for it. Massasoit points system in my opinion almost makes it harder to get in than most places, it's almost as if ifyou don't get all A/A- you don't stand a chance. So go in and talk with an admissions advisor, re evaluate your grades and see what the possibilities are.
The Reality is some schools though require Chemistry, the entire TEAS, and more credit classes may be easier to get into.
Whatever you; do don't give up. I was where you are last year.
Good luck ourbrats4!!
