Massasoit Community College 2020 LPN TO RN

Hi All,

I applied for Massasoits LPN to RN program for spring 2020. I got an email yesterday for log-in info to the Massasoit Student portal. But I haven't received a letter stating my acceptance or denial. Has anyone heard anything?> Do you know when we should expect the letters?

OliviaFK welcome. Did u apply to the evening program for 2020?

Yes I did ! I applied for this past September start as well but didn’t get in. When I applied they went through and said I had everything but when I didn’t get accepted I sat down and talked with someone and they said my TEAS test was a later version they don’t accept anymore (it is like 3 years old) but if it was the correct one with the points I had I would have gotten in. It was a bummer but if I get into this one it will be better with my work schedule !

My TEAS is not that recent so I'm heartbroken right now. There's no specification on the website, rubric or at the info session.

OMG I wonder if it was because of whoever did the info session you went to. That’s so horrible especially if it happened to two of you, even worse because it was different application years. They did say it at the session I went to but again maybe it was a different person doing it? I’m so sorry. I’d still reach out and atleast let them know so they can inform everyone to be more mindful in the future if they are the ones holding the session and maybe if at all possible take it in to consideration for you!

Oh no don’t be upset ! You could have something different than I had ! And when I sat down with someone after to see why I wasn’t accepted they said how it happened to a lot of people that application period. I asked why no one said anything too when you submit your application because they look through everything and they said it was probably because they had new staff so they would be more careful this application time.

try not to be nervous. I’m sure there is a wide range of points for everyone based on the rubric. Even if someone did great on the their TEAS they may not get the full amount of points in the other portions. If I had to estimate my rubric points I’d say I’m at about 60-62 points.

I’m dyingggg to find out if I got in or not!!!! I have a friend in the PT program right now that started last Fall, they were supposed to send out decisions in June for her program and they didn’t send them out until August! She only had 2 weeks to figure everything out. I’ve never taken a class at Massasoit, so honestly I’m kind of discouraged reading the comments on this post about how some people got emails with student portal set up info! Anyway, Good luck everyone!

Just spoke to someone at the campus. She said that decisions won’t be out in the mail until THE END OF DECEMBER! ???
