Hi everyone! This thread is for people applying to MGH Institute's Direct-Entry Master of Science in Nursing (DEN) program for Fall 2023 start. Wanted to start this topic since I hadn't seen one yet. Good luck everyone!
I created page for us to get connected. Please bare with me as I am new to page as well. Here is the link: https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100088971997206

I’m assuming some sort of grandfather clause as many other direct entry programs are still MSN as well. MGH does have a pretty flexible DNP program for APRNs, but it’s another 16 months ?

She mentioned that she did not work the first year but some people did. I am not sure about the final year.
Was she still a full-time student in addition to working as an RN? I hear a ton of mixed reviews about landing your first NP job without RN experience.
Hi guys!!
I was notified that I got into the MGH IHP DE NP Program starting next fall in the adult gerontology acute care track, so I decided to create a facebook group in order to connect with other fellow future classmates that were also accepted into the program. Here’s the link to join?????? https://www.facebook.com/groups/3451103255122898/?ref=share_group_link

Does anyone know anyone in the program?
Hi! I have not, but I am planning to enroll unless I get into Yale with a larger scholarship. I have heard some rumblings of disorganization, but I've heard that about UMass and even Yale. I know 2 people currently in the program and they have really enjoyed it and said nothing but positive things about the first year (professors, structure, and fellow students). I think some disorganization may come in the specialty years?
