Maryville University FNP Program Fall 2013

Can I ask how much Maryville wants for tuition? I was starting to look into them.

I has been told by my advisor that it is $728/ credit. Comes out to @ $35,000 for the whole program.

I did decide on Maryville over University of Cincinnati. The pace and the greater than 700 clinical hours is what has sold me. Plus I asked my advisor through Cincinnati what the pass rate of the boards for their students has been. They said 90%. Considering the national average is 88% and Maryville's pass rate is @ 97%, I figured Maryville is a better fit for my goals.

Congrats to everyone! I received my acceptance e-mail Tuesday, looks like I'll be joining quite a group! I'll be doing the online program and very nervous of how That will work.

Inregards to the gpa requirement, is it cumulative or your most recent nursing degree?

I believe it is cumulative. If you talk to the enrollment advisor he/she will be able to tell you for sure.

Are there multiple fall start dates? I thought the advisor told me there was an August, October then January start.. Any one with insight?

The first semester there are two 8 week classes. So this fall the classes start August 26 then October 21. Because of the 8 week classes it is possible to start 6 different times in the year I believe. My second semester I will be taking two 16 week classes. Hopefully this explanation helps.

Thanks for the response. Fingers crossed I get into the fall 2013 but I cant start till october, so thats what im hoping for. I don't want to bring that up while im still trying to get in

Hi everyone! I also recently got accepted to start Fall 2013 and wondering if anyone has started a Facebook group so we can stay in contact with one another through this program and help one another along. I see that a few other classes are doing that and it seems like a good idea! If it hasn't been I can start one and put the information on here to join! :)

I have seen one started yet. If you start one, I would join the Facebook groups. I am sure others will too.
