Marymount University Accelerated BSN Fall 2017

Nursing Students School Programs

Hi everyone! I didn't see a thread for anyone who applied to Marymount for the ABSN for FALL 2017 so I wanted to start one! hopefully this isn't redundant. I submitted early and already got my letter letting me know of when their first and second review is. I took the TEAS on January 27th. Anxiously waiting to hear back.

I also applied to GMU and GW. Where else did everyone apply? I'm from Alexandria, VA and am super nervous b/c everywhere is SO competitive!

Hi! There are two schedule blocks that they gave us to choose from. Both blocks have morning and afternoon classes. The main difference between them is whether you are spending most of your time on the main campus or the Ballston campus. We also don't really get to "choose" our schedules, we were able to give our preference and then we will be scheduled on a first come first serve basis for whoever preferred which schedule block!

Yea. I chose schedule 1 as my first choice! Anyone living in the Newside apartment building !? And if anyone wants to exchange email and numbers as well?

I got accepted earlier this week as well and sent in my deposit! I heard from Ms Pasternak but she still hasn't sent me registration info, she said that is coming soon. Is anyone else still having to wait to register?

Hi Everyone,

Just found out Ive been accepted to the ABSN program for Fall 2017! Nice to "meet" all of you. Has anyone started a FB group for this cohort? Also, if anyone has any info on tuition costs, non federal loans, and class schedules, please share. Thank you! Looking forward to meeting and working with all of you very soon.

Hi everyone!

For those of you that are going to Marymount, could you tell me how it is? I was just accepted to the traditional program but because they are changing the curriculum, I was given the choice to wait another semester and then start the accelerated course. I'm so torn! Could you guys tell me how hard the program is/which course you would choose/etc? Any advice is greatly appreciated! Thank you so much!!
