Hi everyone! I didn't see a thread for anyone who applied to Marymount for the ABSN for FALL 2017 so I wanted to start one! hopefully this isn't redundant. I submitted early and already got my letter letting me know of when their first and second review is. I took the TEAS on January 27th. Anxiously waiting to hear back.

I also applied to GMU and GW. Where else did everyone apply? I'm from Alexandria, VA and am super nervous b/c everywhere is SO competitive!

Hey everyone. I've sent in my deposit and emailed Ms. Pasternak about registration. She said once we have registered and enrolled in classes we will be able to be on a MU wiki site where we can communicate with her or with others in our cohort. If anyone wants to communicate via email sooner than that let me know we can exchange info. I live in Bowie currently which is about 45 mins from Arlington, but I want to live on campus.

Hi! Does anyone know when we should hear if we've submitted for the second review?

My application was bumped to the second review due to a transcript issue (MU didn't pick up my electronic transcript on time) & I believe the projected notification date is June 15th.

My transcript was sent electronically, I hope this isn't an issue! I just applied for the second review.

I would call and/or email MU admissions to make sure they have both received & picked-up the transcript, as this can be two separate steps, depending on the issuing school. I had everything in two weeks before the first review deadline, but MU dropped the ball & didn't pick up (i.e. access) my transcript, even after receiving it via email.

For those of you who have already been admitted & registered for fall, if you don't mind sharing, how much flexibility do you have with scheduling your classes? Can you put together, for example, a mostly afternoon class schedule, if you prefer?

Also, how generous has MU been with with non-FAFSA financial aid (e.g. scholarships & grants)? I have also been admitted to the ABSN at Shenandoah University, & they have given me about 12K in scholarships/grants per year, bringing the four semester total down to approx 37K. Given the high price of MU without scholarships, I'm heavily considering SU as a more viable alternative.

Hello everyone I have also applied to the ABSN at MU and I applied for the second review. I have sent in everything needed for the application including the TEAs and I'm just nervously waiting to hear back.... I mean I'm just dying over here because I'd really love to get into their program.
