Marymount ABSN 2020

Published

Hey guys! I recently applied to the ABSN program at Marymount University for Spring 2020. I'm wondering if anyone else out there applied. I am anxiously awaiting my decision, and I just wanted to get in touch with others who hope to get into the program. Hopefully we get our decisions soon!

Nope! I had all of my material turned in by the middle of August. Did you apply through NursingCAS or the Marymount website?

I applied through the Marymount application. I assume you did too based on the date of your submission?

Yes I did! I'm wondering if they're going through the applications by last name or something. I'm just hoping I am a good enough candidate to make it in the cohort.

They said in one of the info sessions that they don’t have a cap on enrollment and as long as they deem you qualified you’ll earn admission. Fingers crossed for you!

Thank you!! Congrats to you on getting in! ? I’ll keep you posted.

@ktrimma any word? I got my packet in the mail and my student ID# online late last week

@smallz28 There was an issue with my transcript so I had to obtain a syllabus to prove my class met the nutrition requirement! They said It did and I should hear something in 2 weeks. The waiting is killing me!

To be "deemed qualified" does that just mean a C or better in all of the pre-reqs? Does anyone know if they take healthcare experience into account as well? Applying for the Fall 2020 start and want to make my application as strong as possible!

We encourage students looking to get into an RN program to consider NOVA nursing as a backup option. you can finish your RN and either pursue a co-enrollment or RN to BSN option.
