Hi! I have recently passed the local nursing licensure exams and is planning to go to Maryland to work as RN. Any of you out there who has an idea how long CGFNS will take to give a CES report to Maryland BON? And granting all documents and requirements are submitted promptly, how long will it take me to actually sit the NCLEX?
Thanks very much! More power to us!

Let me ask my friends about it. The Baltimore area has had such a huge influx of Filipino nurses the past few years. It's wonderful! It makes the Philippine Indepedence Day celebrations more festive. I hope you love it here.

The issue is how long that it takes CGFNS to get the CES completed. And have you completed the TOEFL exam? That is also a requirement. Usually just a few weeks to get the ATT, once they actually get the report. They usually do not process anything until they receive the CES.
oh yes please ... need help badly in terms of information ... I really am shooting for Maryland to work. Thank you so much in advance. I appreciate it very much! :roll :roll :yelclap:
Exactly. I have sent all the required documents save the Licensure Validation since I do not have a local license yet but have sent a letter of explanation as to why. I checked online and CGFNS has acknowledged receipt of the documents since June 12, 2006 and til now all it states online is that my CES is ready for review. I already took the IELTS and has sent the results to the Maryland BON. All I need now is the CES. How long does a CES report take to be issued provided all requirements are given promptly?
All future plans are pending since I am waiting for an exact date as to when I can sit the exam. I'm getting fidgety
