Anyone on here applied to Marquette University Direct Entry program? Summer 2015?

Good, did anyone else hear any news about when they r sending out information? Does anyone know if it is via email or regular mail or phone call?

Someone mentioned late Feb or early March. I'm not sure is it going to be through email, letter, or phone call. I'm so nervous!!!

Me too! I asked she said denyals go in mail and if accepted an e-mail is sent.. So, I am checking my email often, I hope it's soon!

Where else did you guys applied?

Ruby0810, I I applied to MU, UIC, Rush, Millikin University (I got accepted into direct entry CNL), NYU, University of Miami, Seton Hall and University of Rochester. (I got accepted into their program as well) however, MU is definitely my first choice! What about you?

Gigi1990, wow! Good for you! I only applied to MU and Northeastern. Still waiting on both. Would you be willing to share a little bit of your background with me? Such as schooling, experience, etc? What track would you be going into at MU?

I just graduated from Saint Catherine University with a bachelor degree in Public Health and wanting to transition into Nursing. I have been a CNA for 6 years.

Ruby0810, yeah of course! I actually graduated from MU in Psychology and Biomedical Sciences. Their nursing program is awesome and I applied to many programs because they are all extremely competitive, especially MU. You should apply to Millikin they are on rolling admissions and are wonderful! They look at a person as an individual and many people dont know about them because it is such a small school and program in Illinois. I know that they still have a few openings and it is always nice to have few schools as a back-up. They also start in July, so it gives people more time to prepare, and tuition is cheap compared to other schools I applied to. As for my experience, I volunteered a few times on a Cardiology floor, Pediatrics and Dermatology. I personally shadowed a physician in LA for over a month in Pediatrics Surgery which was awesome! I only have my BLS for healthcare providers and I worked part-time as a Pharmacy technician while in College. I also had many jobs while in College which helped me better my resume. I did get accepted to Millikin and Rochester so far, I have few interviews in progrss. Since you have a CNA that is awesome because I know that they look for experience and patient contact! Good luck :)

I applied to University of Virginia (wait listed), Seattle University (invited to interview), and Pacific Lutheran University (still waiting to hear)!

I have been a tech in ICU/TU for a year, have been a sexual assault victim advocate for 2 years and just graduated from Hope College with a Spanish degree... I hope to go the CNM route at MU :)

Thank you so much! That was very helpful and I sure will look into that!

Hope]oy, that is amazing, I know that University of Virginia is one of the top schools, and your experience will deff. get you there! Good luck!

Hi everyone! i'm waiting on MU too!!! has anyone heard anything about the program?
