  7. Not sure, although ppl from past cohorts said sometime in the afternoon.
  8. who else is nervous for tomorrow?!
  9. hello! good luck on your interview Monday! :) It seems that its most important to get experience as a RN before jumping into a DNP program. Even 1-2 years would be good. UIC's program is new (the first cohort was Fall 2014). This program is 2.5 years they said. Another concerning aspect is that this programs rewards you with an MS. While most other programs is the Masters in Nursing. I heard that its harder to get jobs and isn't always liked. I'm not really into the whole MS thing especially if i'll have problems later on getting a good job or getting into DNP programs at schools other than UIC. I would really need to talk to some faculty at UIC about this because it concerns me.
  10. has anyone heard back?! Karen told me the start of march!
  11. congrats MME20! that's great news :) mine was also post marked the day after the interview. I wonder why yours was over skype! are you from the area? either way, congrats again. I didn't get a friend request so let me know if you couldn't find me or ill try adding you :)
  12. Can anyone currently in the program talk more about it?
  13. same here! lets talk through fb if you guys have it? its easier I think. add me: https://www.facebook.com/sonam.patel.313
  14. hey guys! i got in too!
  15. She responded: Thank you for your email. Unfortunately I don't have many details for you. I can tell you that the department has your application for review and that no decision has been made one way or the other at this time. They should be issuing decisions within the next couple of weeks, but the timeline is really up to Nursing. As soon as we have a decision on your application, we'll notify you via email and/or written mail. Best wishes, Lizzie
