Marquette Direct Entry MSN 2018

Published

Hey guys, I didn't see a thread for Marquette's direct entry MSN program for fall 2018 so I figured I'd start one. I just submitted my app for the PP location today for their spring admission, but I am also applying to Marquette's traditional program for fall 2018. Do they review applications based off date submitted or date verified?

Hope to start school with some of you soon!

Hey! I applied for the PP fall cohort. Im also still waiting to hear back. My application was verified on NursingCAS Feb 8th.

Just got word from Kelly that admissions decisions have been released for the next round at the PP August 2018 start date. I got in! Looking to connect with others in the PP August 2018 Cohort. Good luck to everyone!

What were you stats if you dont mind sharing

I messaged them too and they said the next 1-2 weeks all decisions should be made. I think this applies both to the PP and the Milwaukee Program. Don't really know what to expect at this point tbh. I thought they would have let me known earlier cause I did turn my application in fairly early. I know that my application was not verified until November.

I have a B.S. in physics with a minor in chemistry, and also have an MBA. My undergrad GPA was a 3.66 and my graduate GPA was a 3.6, so I did not submit any GRE scores. I had all A's in my pre-requisite courses. I also have 6 months experience working as a scribe in the ER.

I was also accepted into Pleasant Prairie and would like to connect with others in the program. Earlier on this thread someone said they made a Facebook group page specific for the Pleasant Prairie cohort but I don't see it. Did anyone else find it? Best wishes to everyone waiting on their decisions.

Hey! I did make a Facebook page for the pleasant prairie cohort but Rob told me it had to be taken down- I guess only they can make the page or something like that. He did tell me that once the admissions process is over, there will be one we can join!

I will be declining my offer to the Milwaukee program soon, so I hope it helps one of you get into the program! Good luck to everyone waiting to hear back!

So for those of you who have started the program, how do you like it? I am looking at Pleasant Prarie. Thank you for any input!

I would also be interested to hear from current students about the Milwaukee campus program. General likes/dislikes, feel prepared?, plans for after program (and how that transition will happen), etc.

Anybody else still waiting to hear back? At this point I feel like they will wait until after the application deadine (April 1st on NursingCAS) before reviewing anymore apps.

I am in the same boat. I am still waiting and am growing very impatient!
