Marquette Direct Entry MSN 2020 (mke campus)

Published

Hi!

Anyone else applying to Marquette's direct-entry MSN Milwaukee program for summer 2020? Looking to connect!

I also was accepted into Marquette for Summer 2020:) woo!

@PsychTristan Congrats on the acceptance!! I also applied to the program but am still waiting on a decision. The cost of the program in total is $57,000. The cohort size is a little over 50 I believe. Would you mind telling me when you sent in you application?

Thank you. I wasn’t too sure on the numbers (definitely one of the more reasonable and affordable prices!).

i submitted my application on November 1st. All my materials were received by that day as well.

They said they review apps in the order they are received and in batches.

The cohort is around 56! My application was verified on October 21st and I received my acceptance yesterday!

Have you decided on Marquette? We might be classmates(:

Marquette definitely seems reasonably priced. Although housing is another headache since I’m from Texas xD

Never been to Wisconsin before

Hello! For those who have been accepted, just wondering if you're done with your prereqs or if you still have ones you need to complete this semester/next semester??

Also, just curious if anyone has any graduate degrees already in a non-nursing field ?

@ak336712 I had all my prereqs completed before I applied

Hello!

I just got accepted for summer 2020! I applied to marquette and simmons. My goal is NP. I heard Simmons won't have a decision until late January which stinks because Marquette needs a deposit by Jan 18 which I will probably put in anyways. For those who got accepted and are committing, why are you choosing Marquette? I'd love to talk about your career goals and why Marquette is the best choice for you. Can comment or PM me !

Hi All:) I recently got my letter of acceptance for summer 2020 (Milwaukee) campus. I'm excited at the prospect but there are so many unknowns! For Instance, Marquette request a non-refundable deposit by mid-January and I don't know anything about my potential financial aid package. To add another layer of complication, I applied to seven schools and Marquette is the first that I've heard back from. I don't expect to hear back from the others from weeks, or possibly months.

That said, I am likely to accept and move from California. If anyone hears of a good housing opportunity (preferably close to campus or close to a large park:) for a grad student with a 50lb. perfect black lab please let me know!

You can find me on facebook by typing "Sonoma County Steve Oak" into google. Please request to be my friend, as that is likely inevitable (and is the only way you can see my profile:)

Hi everyone!

I applied to the summer 2020 program on the deadline because I finished some prereq's during this fall semester. I am currently an undergrad at Marquette if anyone has any questions about the campus :)

Hello! Do you live on/off campus? Do you know if off campus housing is difficult to find/expensive? Does milwaukee have good public transportation or should we have a car? How spread out is the campus in case we have to walk to different buildings for classes? (I heard winters are brutal). Fingers crossed you get an acceptance soon!!!! ?

Hi all! I also recently received an acceptance to the MKE campus for summer 2020! Just wondering if anyone has started a FB group or anything to give those interested in attending this program a chance to connect about prep, living, etc? Excited to meet you all!
