Marquette Direct Entry MSN Fall 2023

Hi! I have not seen a discussion for this cohort yet so I thought I would make one! I am still waiting on an admission decision and was hoping to hear when others get their decision! 

Ah I wasn't told that, but I'll let you know if I receive a call like that!! 

By the way, do you know how many people usually apply for the Fall cycle? @Summer1030

And no I don't know the application pool number sorry ? but my advisor told me it's rolling admission so as long as you submitted it pretty early, decisions come out faster.

It's all good!!

When I asked, the advisor said they get around 400-500 applications. I'm not sure if that's per year or per cycle tho, but if it's per cycle then that's a lot ? I'm just worried as I'm not sure if I'm competitive enough. Hoping that we hear positive news this week! @Summer1030

I'm sure you will do AMAZING! My stats are also not competitive so no worries! I know people that get into these MSN programs with crazy low stats. There's so many programs out there!!

I think that should be fine!! Most schools look for extracurriculars and who you are as a person which is really encouraging! 
 

I'm originally from California, so if I don't get into Marquette, I'll most likely apply to the California schools! @kirbyyy

I noticed that about generalist MSN programs!! They really review applications holistically while as BSN programs focus a lot on grades??

I'm from Nevada! I applied to three schools, one of them being my current university (I'm still in my last sem of undergrad) but I won't be hearing back from them until around July, the other one is SLU. Really hoping to hear good news from at least one of the schools ?
