Maricopa Nursing CEP 2019 (Applicants for April 1st - May 31st)

There is already a post for CEP 2019 Summer Start so I figured I would make a new post for those applying next round. I am curious to see how many people plan to apply and how competitive this round will be.

I am applying to PVCC/NAU with 84 points. Thank you to those who participate and good luck next round! ????

I’m sorry. It’s so disappointing. I feel like I worked my butt off to try to get into the program and have nothing to show for it. I’ve been on the traditional waitlist since December of 2017 and those acceptance letters are supposed to start going out next Monday so hopefully I’ll get in for this round so I can do midpoint.

I thought I had 79.5 with GWCC and ASU but one of the advisors from GWCC just emailed me and said I had exactly 79. So apparently I calculated them wrong. Or they did.

I had a 77.7, applied for mcc, chandler-Gilbert, and Scottsdale with Ottawa University. The Ottawa advisor said applying with an 80 or higher is the best bet to getting accepted so I’ll be retaking bio 201 and the hesi to up all the scores and hopefully give myself around 3-4 points. She sent me the breakdown of how the points are calculated if anyone needs that.

I used the rubric that’s on the Maricopa CEP website to calculate my points so I don’t understand how I got a different number than they did. I emailed the nursing department at ASU a since the university are the ones who calculate the points. If they calculated them wrong and I didn’t get in because of that I will be super upset. Because someone earlier posted that someone with 79.1 points got into GateWay mornings which is what I applied for so if I actually have 79.5 points I should have gotten in.
