Hi everybody!
Just a little story and encouragement for those people who ever doubt you at ANYTHING!
I originally wanted to apply for gateway community college I talked with an advisor and she told me my scores and grades were not going to be good enough to get in the program and I should look at other healthcare fields. As I walked out of there feeling defeated! I applied atMesa Community college. I put MCC as my first choice but still listed GWCC as my second choice.
then today I got a acceptance letter from GWCC. I don’t know if that nursing advisor will remember me specifically and how she made me feel.
I was able to pull through with her doubt against me and I it accepted to GWCC.
if I can do it anyone can!

From what I understand, we will have about three or four days of class per week for the first part of block 1. Once clinicals start, it might drop to 2 to 3 days. Start times are around 11-1130. Ending as late as 1900.

**I could be wrong. If I am misinformed, please correct me (gently).**

Now that we're accepted...I can't wait to start!!

I turned in my application on the last day.
School preferences: mcc, gwcc, gcc.

university: nau

gpa: 3.65 * 10 = 36.5

hesi: 93%

english: 92.67 * 0.35 = 32.43
math: 94.00 * 0.15 = 14.1
i also have a previous bachelors degree. +5

Rubric total: 88

I received an acceptance email today from my first choice school.

Does anyone know how long you have to accept the offer? I had 89 points so i’m pretty sure i’m accepted but i’m currently locked out of my email account so i’m stresssssed

Call the school and let them know you got in for sure and they give 7 days. Good luck!
