Marian University (MU) CRNA 2024 Start

Just wanted to start a thread for Marian University CRNA program hopefuls to help share information. I applied a few weeks ago and got an email saying the application is with the admissions committee and to expect an email about a potential interview in the next 4 weeks.  Good luck everyone!

Just curious if anyone has heard of people getting in off the waitlist. Or heard any more news about how many people are on the waitlist. Just trying to keep my hopes up that a spot may open up! Good luck to everyone this year.

I heard someone in the last cohort found out they got off the waitlist within like a week of the program starting. Talk about stressful.

Hi everyone! 

I was fortunate enough to come off the waitlist this month and was accepted into the class of 2027! 

My background is 3 years of experience in MICU/SICU at a Trauma Level 1 hospital. I have my CCRN and TCAR certifications. At my hospital, I am a part of the vascular access team. Also, I teach classes to nursing staff on how to place ultrasound IVs. Last Fall, I took the Bio-Statistics class through Marian. My GPA is 3.5

I mentioned in my resume every kind of monitoring and equipment I work with at the bedside with my patients.

That's awesome! Congrats, your stats are great and I'm sure you will do well in the program. Just curious when did they email/call?

Thank you so much!! I got an email saying I was waitlisted on 12/21. Then, I got a phone call on 1/10 saying a spot opened up and I was accepted!

I found out I was accepted into my top choice school this week, so I will be giving up my seat. I hope to make someone's day on the waitlist! Don't lose hope!

This is amazing congratulations!! Gives us hope, plus it's early on in the year & we have until May to receive that phone call?
