I was interviewed Sept 13, I received a call Oct 4 notifying me of being accepted. Sent my letter by email on Oct 6.

When did you apply? And do you mind to share your stats?

Applied 8/30, interview invite 9/5.

So I haven't planned my whole career around CRNA school. I've been wanting to work on some type of APRN degree and I haven't been completely satisfied with the thought of NP school. I qualified for Marian's program and the thought of being a CRNA sounded absolutely amazing. So I decided to just apply and see what happened. I only submitted one application- just to Marian since Im local and wouldn't be able to move for school. I didn't really know about stats so l didn't do calculations for science courses etc.

6 years as an RN

5 years in various ICUs (I was staff in MICU, did a couple of local contracts where I was floated to Burn, Trauma/Surgical, Cardiac, and Neuro ICUs- jack of all trades, master of none)

Masters in Nursing Leadership 3.82 GPA

3.43 undergraduate I believe?

CCRN, TCAR, PALS, NRP

Currently working as a vascular access RN doing
PICC lines/ ultrasound IVs/ Art lines

1 eight hour shadow experience

I haven't really done a lot of digging on other people's stats. I didn't think I'd be a top applicant but I wanted to give it a shot. I'm so glad I did! I'm extremely blessed for this opportunity!

That's so awesome that you got the offer without even trying. I wish I could do the same. Congratulations 🎊🍾

My application finally went through and I'm hoping they're still giving out interview invites this late in the game...

I also got my application submitted the very last day and I had to wait for the LOR to be sent . I got an interview invite for following Friday . I am super nervous about the Clinic aspect of it . I am hoping for the best .

Did you get all your supplemental documents in by October 7th too? And when did you get the interview invite?

My supplemental documents got sent by October 14th and I haven't heard anything about an interview yet.

Yes . I submitted my application on Oct 1st and supplemental docs by the 7th . They confirmed my application on the 9th . Got the invite on Monday . Did they confirm that everything has been accepted/ completed ? As far as I know the deadline for all docs to be sent / submitted was the 7th .

Congrats, I hope the interview goes well!

I was in contact with them and they said they extended the deadline for supplemental documents to October 14th due to an overwhelming number of applicants! They did confirm everything has been accepted/completed and sent to the admissions for review. I think I was probably still too late in the cycle though.

Well . I think it's still too soon for them to send you an invite . It took a week for me to receive further information. Hang in there . they must be reviewing all those applications that were completed this week . Keep me posted 🙂

I got my interview invite!

I'm really nervous LOL cause I heard they do ask a lot of clinical questions.

When I got the interview invite there were multiple people listed and I interviewed with 2 of them, 1 per session, the clinical questions were very generalized and correlated with the CCRN study guide - and the EI questions were situational. I just answered as honestly as possible!

Hi when you say the clinical questions correlated with the CCRN study guide, which study guide are you referring to? Do you mean one that was created by the AACN? Or did you mean just in general they correlated with any CCRN study book?

Thank you!
