Did you get a phone call and a email for acceptance?

So far just a phone call, which I was very surprised by, when I interviewed they said they were interviewing thru the entirety of October and would be sending out decision letters in November

Any tips on how to prep for interview and exam portion?

I interviews last week and the emotional questions are very generalized. I would go back to your CCRN book and look over general topics from each chapter. That's what they tested me on.

She didn't, she said to watch for an email in the upcoming week with deposit information as well as paperwork to complete.

Congratulations, do you mind to share your stats?

Honestly my stats are probably below average as far as GPA. My ASN was 3.65 (mostly As in the science courses) and I earned my BSN through WGU so my GPA was significantly weighed down by their pass/fail grading system because a pass is equivalent to a 3.0.  I brought this up with admissions last year and they said my science GPA was on par with other applicants so maybe they were less concerned with the 40 credits at 3.0

I've been an ICU nurse for 8 years, traveled for 5 in a variety of specialties.

Apart from required ICU certs I have my CCRN-CMC, PALS, and TNCC.

Congrats!

Did you do anything different from your first time applying to now other than gain another year of experience?

Thank you!

Thank you!

Started taking CRRT patients, joined a committee, took the GRE and biochemistry. I also think my personal statement was written better this year. So, I tried to improve kind of everything
