How was it? I was waitlisted last year and the interview structure is completely different this year. Was the entire hour with panel or did you spend time with the student? Last year it was 30 with the professors and 30 with the student. Mine is on Wednesday.

Yeah same here, and it is different. There is no students or quiz this year. It's 30 minutes with 1 member of the panel and 30 minutes with another and that's it. The quiz questions are built into the interview this year as well!

Did you guys take a graduate-level statistics course? or do people usually wait to see if they have been granted admission?

You don't have to take it till after you're accepted but I took it prior to applying.

Hi congratulations! When did you apply vs when did you hear back that you had an interview? Also who informed you that you had an interview? I applied Aug 12th and haven't heard anything back.. I feel like that's a bad sign.

I applied 8/23, got my invite 9/3, and interviewed virtually 9/7.
I was waitlisted last year so that could have been a factor on the turn around time, I'm not sure. Last year I wasn't invited to interview until mid October and then flew to Indiana early November when the interviews were being held in person. Don't be discouraged!
How did you prepare for the interview?
