how many yrs did it take to pay off your college loan?

Just wondering how many yrs it took for everyone to get their loan paid off.

It took me two years. My loan was for $14,000. It was a 10 year loan, and only $100 a month, but I couldn't stand the thought of having it hanging over my head that long. And I hate paying interest. So I worked a lot of overtime my first year working that I wasn't also in school.

I completed school 7 months ago and still owe over $20,000 on a Sallie Mae student loan. I am repaying it at the rate of $300 monthly.
