i took my nclex rn test on 8th oct .ca board of nursing doesn't participate in quick results:madface:.its really really hard to wait for 3 4 weeks to get the result in mail. test takers can do pearson vue trick which most people say is reliable but still u do not feel that much comfortable .we cant celebrate on getting the pop up nd we can't start studying again if it takes us to cc page because we are still in doubt:hdvwl: ...
but if our name appears on ca bon website then its confirmed that we passed. i have been looking for my name on ca bon website from past 4 days but still its not there:uhoh21:, and i cant stop myself from checking the website:typing .
people who have passed the nclex rn in california:nurse: .can u pls tell us after how many days u got ur name on ca bon website,so that an average can be made .its going to help lots of california test takers who r going crazy :crash_comlike me looking at the website .....:ilyc:thanks
I just recently took my exam on Friday Oct. 2nd and was told by many to check the brn license verification in 3 business days for my name so I checked on Oct. 7th (and PASSED, I totally cried because I really thought I had failed). However, when I looked up my name, my license had been issued on Oct. 5th. That's about 1 business day and could have saved myself 2 whole days of agony but posting and issuing dates might not be the same. Most of my friends who passed and checked their name in 3 days had their names posted.
For this week, I think the 3 day long weekend has pushed the results posting a bit back. Anyways if you passed, your name should be posted at the latest 3 or 4 business days after your exam date (don't count Saturday even though you can take tests). I'm pretty confident about this information but hey I don't work for the BRN =P If I did, I would just let you all know right after you finish the exam! It would save us all some white hairs and the agony of waiting!!
Well it finally updated on Oct. 13th. My name still not up there, still have hope seeing that technically today is the 2nd business day since, I guess they had a four day weekend. If it's not up by Saturday then I will start to worry more.

I am Ca too....
I passed!! On the CA BRN website today. Took nclex-rn on Saturday, 10/10. Relief!!

Hey all,just joined this site.Am pretty scared coz am seeing other people who did their exams after me say they can already see their names.I took my RN boards on 6th at 8am.Had issues with my names but after several phone calls,was allowed to take my exams.I actually started my exam at 9am and was done by 9:55am.It sopped at 75 but as I was leaving the center,I cldnt hold my tears anymore since I had a rough morning before taking the exams.
I got home,checked the vue site and there was a msg that was saying I was not allowed to register since I had an open exam going on.My status later changed to Delivery successful but the msg changed to my results were put on hold.I was glad it dint lat me pay thinking that was the msg everybody was getting.
I got the same msg there after until Friday when I stated panicking since I read somewhere on this site and somebody had the same msg then they later found out they had failed.I called Pearsonvue and they said they were not aware why I had the onhold msg and the lady just said Sorry and hung up the phone.I later called NCSBN,spoke with this lady who said FBI had cleared my name and the msg was going to change that same friday.I had the same msg the whole wknd.......I have had a rough couple of days waiting......On Monday arnd mid day,the msg changed to Our records show you recently took the exams......contact your BON,another......cannot be made.
It was a relief at the same time,am seeing other pple who took their exams on 8th and 9th Oct have seen their names on Ca BON but mine.......am so worried....somebody.....am going nuts....H.E..L..P!!!!!
