manhattan institute for CNA training

:uhoh21:Is this a good school for CNA training. How about the Allen school. Did anyone heard about any CUNY colleges that will do this training. Thank you very much.

Specializes in Community Health, Med-Surg, Home Health.

Allen School has been around for ages. Not sure if it is a good school, but if you call, they will bug the heck out of you. There is one around where I live. York College has a CNA course, and if I am not mistaken, either Queensboro or Queens College may also offer one. Good luck!

Yea don't go to Allen school, They called me everyday pestering me about their school. I had friends that went there, and i advice you to spend yr money somewhere else. It's too expensive, and not even worth it.

I recommend Manhattan Institute, and theres this other school called "NY Medical Training Center" in Flushing Queens. I'm taking their CNA class at the end of December. A lot of ppl recommend it, and its pretty cheap. They have a website as well.

Good luck!

How are the teaching faculty at the center in Queens, manhattan institute and the CUNY colleges. Do they appreciate their students on the field they are choosing. Did any one became a CNA to a RN.

Specializes in acute care.

I went to NY Med Training center...definitely cheaper than the other schools...also took my EKG and Phlebotomy course there with a wonderful professor...I am waiting until I finish the semester so I can have them place me for a phlebotomy and/or EKG internship

Hard to say, I didn't attend any of them. I went to ABC Training Center when they were located in Manhattan. I don't know exactly what you mean regarding if they appreciate their students in the field they are choosing.

I became an LPN, but not through the school, I did that on my own.
