Anyone in Minnesota applying to any of the MANE programs? I’m currently waitlisted at Century for the fall term, but will apply again to Century and Inver for spring 2020 just in case I don’t get into the fall cohort.
Composite:
Century- 11.57
Inver- 11.07

Last term century’s “waitlist letters” were never sent postage, just emailed about one month (with our number) after we all expected to receive letters ? more waiting ?

So what they will do is once the deadline passes, they will go and check off all of the students who declined their acceptance into the program...after that, they will inform the first wave of students who “accepted” their temporary waitlist spot to take the place of those who declined their seats. After that, a second wave of students (who also accepted their temporary waitlist spot) will get an actual number via email.
This past cycle, 22 accepted students declined their seats. As a result, the first 22 students who accepted their temporary waitlist spot were granted acceptance. THEN the rest of the students who also accepted a spot on the temporary waitlist were given a number via email. I was waitlisted on the “second wave” at spot 10, then finally accepted. Took a month after the “waitlist deadline letter” to get my official acceptance. So I would guess by September 1 everyone should know if they are in or not. If things go as they did last term.

Nutrition once a week (Monday mornings), health promotion/theory is twice a week for lecture (Monday and Thursday afternoons) and once a week for the lab portion of that class(I chose evening). Clinical is once a week from 730-330p. I heard that this semesters course load is easy. I finished all my GEs, so I agree! I couldn’t imagine taking another class on top of that schedule.
Hi!!! I just got admitted to the Fall 2019 Cohort at Century last week, so I'm waiting to hear when the makeup nursing orientation is.. (hopefully soon considering classes are in 2 weeks) Do you have more details on the schedule for classes this fall (like times and what day clinical is)?
I have all my GEs finished also so at least I don't have to worry about that!
And thanks in advance ?

I just sent you an email via this website!
Hi all
I’m planning on applying to Century and NHCC in January so I can start fall of 2020. I’m studying for the TEAS right now, what material/study methods did you use to get high scores on the TEAS? I’d really love to get into Century... I read one person got 97% on the TEAS and she watched all the Khan videos, and their math videos helped me get 87% on the teas exam I took a couple years ago. She said the videos give a general overview and not much specific. When I took the TEAS last I think I was in Chemistry so I didn’t know any of the science stuff and that’s what made me bomb. I just don’t want to have to take the exam over to get a great score, wanna be one and done. Did they ask very specific science AP questions?
also, if any of you are single and not able to rely on anyone to pay bills and a mortgage for you, how are you planning on covering those costs? It’s strongly urged not to work during the program and I’ve never had to take out loans for school before so taking that route is making me very nervous.
Hello everyone. I re applied for spring and was waitlisted I never got a number assigned to me, however this morning I woke up to an acceptance letter from century. So if anyone is waiting for theirs I’m sure they’ll have it by this week. Mine had the print date of August 16 so it took a whole 5 days to get here (Burnsville area). Anyways I’m glad the wait is over I’ll see y’all at orientation in the fall.

Hey congrats! Did they give you any information once you accepted the spot? I was told they would mail me more info, such as the orientation date for Spring 2020, but I never got anything. The new nursing student webpage is only updated for Fall 2019.
