any one having a easier time geting a job as a newgrad than your female counterparts?
I was wondering about this, all my male friends ahead me find jobs no problems, but many of the females ahead of me are having a hard time.
Sorry if this strikes a sour note with our female nurses.

Geez. that would be great. I am getting ready to take my CPNE and i hear that some hospitals look down on EC. I'll take any edge I can get.

Working in EMS I get into a variety of hospitals. Most all ER charge nurses I talk to are always on the lookout for male nurses. They do so for a variety of reasons, but seems to be very happy when they find one.
Guess this subject might be objectionable to our female nurses, sorry I did not mean to offend anyone.

I don't see why this would be offensive.
Diversity in the workplace is a common 'steering' committee for HR... so i say - wahoo.

Up here in Canada I know there's a huge demand for nurses in general, left alone male nurses. I here this a lot too...is it true?
