When I spoke with my advisor, who is at harold washington not malcolm x . I was told that the Nursing program is now like a lottery system where if you meet all the requirements you have a chance to get in. It's no longer like where you get the highest grades then you will get in. (Don't know how true it is, but thats how it was explained to me)
Hey guys, how did you get your CNA certifications?
It is my understanding that CCC is not currently offering their BNA program. I took it back in 2011 but my certification is expired. I need to do another manual skills test and a written test. I emailed a few people at CCC (my instructor from when I got it in 2011 as well as --------------------------) to ask.
Does the certification need to be active in order to apply? It's on my transcript ?
I won't make the Spring 2021 deadline, which is fine (I just had a baby and want to get Micro out of the way!).. but I am hoping to get my act together before the fall deadline. This CNA thing is really throwing me for a loop.

Hey there! Is anyone here applying for Malcolm X ADN (nursing) program for Spring 2021? I am a bit nervous. My GPA is 3.0 and I am taking the TEAS soon and hopefully scoring >90 overall. How likely is it to get admitted? Has anyone been admitted with lower stats before? Thanks!
