Malcolm X Nursing Program - Chicago, Spring 2020

Anyone Applying for this Spring Term? I'm so lost on how the Nursing Department is processing all submissions -- and the office has not been helpful in giving clear instructions. Anyone else who has completed this process have any tips? My biggest fear is having all requirements turned in and they are not processed.

Did you guys do another TB test? -- "The drug screening and TB testing results must be completed the week of December 30th and January 3rd, 2019."

No, I just did the drug test. Spoke to someone from the nursing dept. and told me not to repeat the tb unless told otherwise the first week of class.

I just received a notice that a urine drug test needs to be completed between 12/30 and 1/3. I had a Tb (serum) test in November.

Congrats to those who were accepted!!! I asked Malcolm X before, you dont need another TB test unless your professors tell you when classes actually start. Just do the drug test for now. They will send you a website and location to get your scrubs from. Do NOT get them from the ccc bookstore. I also suggest physically going into the oak lawn store location to try them on, especially if you're a bit larger or petite. The books required are also cheaper on other websites . The bookstore is very expensive.

Have you all ordered your uniforms? Are they navy blue or ceil blue? The email I receive says the uniforms are navy blue with a MX patch, but the bookstore has the uniforms listed as ceil blue.
