Malcolm X Nursing Program - Chicago, Spring 2020

Anyone Applying for this Spring Term? I'm so lost on how the Nursing Department is processing all submissions -- and the office has not been helpful in giving clear instructions. Anyone else who has completed this process have any tips? My biggest fear is having all requirements turned in and they are not processed.

Not going to lie, I had lost hope since last week since there was literally no communication from them. No email responses and no call backs. I felt like I got ghosted lol.

But it seems like they look at apps 1 by 1.

Thanks, btw... what was your gpa.... I understand if you don’t want to share that info... just curious to know how far off mine is?

call them tomorrow for updates. They might be waiting for final grades to officially post which I think is this weekend. What does your student portal say in selective application?

it says in progress on the portal. They dont seems to pick their calls most of the time...sighssss

Hi Everyone! I have officially drop out of my spot and hopefully it goes to someone still waiting. Malcolm x wasn’t the only school that I was accepted to. I was lucky enough to also be accepted at cod and Harper and decided to go to cod. I wish everyone the best of luck..

Hi Amy,

I too am waiting for my final chemistry grade to post. My application is still under “In progress”, so we’re in the same boat. Grades will be released on Monday so I hope we receive some type of notification shortly there after.
