Have you applied? Have you heard anything? Do you have some helpful information to share?

It seemed silly to go over the services again, because we were all at some point required to attend new student orientation which went over the same stuff (though much shorter) when we enrolled in our first semester at CCC. I did appreciate hearing scholarship opportunities though. Hopefully tomorrow goes better.

Other than that...

Does anyone know where their clinical sites are? She kept saying we should already know...but I don't?

I went up to the main nursing office and the secretary told all of us (there were a few people) that our clinic instructor should send us an email before the first session saying where we will go. Our first week of clinic is at the school, tho.

Has anyone been able to open that handbook download?? I see it under the "community" tab on blackboard, but it says "404 not found" whenever i try to open it. Did i miss something??? I'm trying to get every thing done ASAP so i can enjoy my last stress free weekend before class begins but they just keep throwing us curve balls LOL

....But At least orientation is over!! that was a struggle!

She mentioned that the handbook was recently updated and that it will be posted in a few days, maybe that's why? I don't see any handbook anywhere, I thought we will be doing it through our class blackboard?

I'm confused now.

Yes she said she was uploading it right then and there!! It was my understanding that we would receive an email soon but It would be a walk though on how to find it on Blackboard. didn't she say it was due by Friday??

I think she meant next week Friday? I don't see the handbook anywhere in my blackboard...

Is anyone else going to Loretto Hospital for clinical? I think the modules Ms. Nicholson sent us are missing info and I can't take the quiz that was attached.

Also, not sure if anyone else has to do this, but my clinical section says we have to successfully perform several skills the first day (Communication, Hand washing, PPE, Isolation Bed making, Oral Care, Bathing, Perineal Care, and Oral feeding) and to log on to ATI to review, but we were never given any codes for ATI???

Do you have access to the modules? I don't have any access to anything on the ATI site, so they told me to go to ThePoint? Are you doing the same? One of my prof said we should have access to the ATI site tomorrow, but I thought we had to be given the code too...

What modules do you have? What are you using? I don't have a quiz?

I still have yet to know where my clinicals are, but my instructor emailed me...sooo there's that. I do know that first week of clinicals will be at the school.

Does anyone have clinical tomorrow? We have to do ATI modules: HIPPA, infection control, etc. For Ms. Diaz class and I have no idea how to access these modules. Does anyone have any luck with that?

I am also going to Lorettto. Yes, we are missing information because not every thing is in the documents they sent. Do you know where exactly we are supposed to meet tmrw? I am in the evening class.
