Hello! 
I wanted to create this group for those who are planning on applying for the MX nursing program. Just curious on people's thoughts on applying to the RN program

I believe the application cycle begins August 24th. Would love to get in contact with other applicants! Have you taken the TEAS already? Do you still have a prereq to complete? Lets all chat!

This is my first time applying to the RN program. 

I haven't seen an exact timeframe on the admission packet. I'm not sure how far they go up to the new semester to give decisions.

Not yet! I was just about to ask

I havent received an email or anything. Hopefully were able to register for classes soon since I have to figure out my work/school schedule

I spoke with an advisor yesterday, she said we cannot register until we get welcome letter and package. She said once accepted it can take anywhere from 2 to 3 weeks. She said not to count last week.

I emailed them to ask when would be the final date to hear back. I was told there is no final date and students offered admission have to be given time to make decisions. I asked if all seats were offered but I haven't heard back yet.....In previous groups I saw people mentioning final dates being given. I guess they aren't doing that this year? Let me know if you all get a different answer.

Yeah. I had to go to the advisor and they gave me a permission code.

To update for anyone waiting also I checked my portal and it said, "director's denial." 😞

If anyone knows someone to talk to regarding the decision let me know! I'd just like to understand what to do better for next time.

Mine was just updated I also got denial 🥺 if anyone knows who to email regarding the application please let me know I also would like to know what prevented me from acceptance.
