Making a Study schedule for susans plan so I can take the NCLEX the second time

I just finished an RN program in May 2008. I have been an LPN for 4 1/2 years, I spent that time working on a Med/Surg unit. I took the NCLEX on July 11 and did not pass. The experience left me devasted. I have 7 children and 1 husband (ha ha), we were all looking forward to spending time together now that school was over. But now I find I have to study AGAIN. I know I need to have a paradigm shift, but I am just now strong enough to face studying again. Someone referred me to Susans Plan, so I am looking for advice or a plan someone else has used that has been successful. I am currently working on the first tip, so any other tips will be helpful. I hope to be able to return the favor. We are all in this together.

Welcome, there are a few threads discussing her plan and who passed. If you do a search you will also see many more that have passed who no longer post in the NCLEX forum as they have moved on. If you follow it completely you have a really good chance

Good luck

I too am hoping to use Suzanne's plant he whole way through. Fortunately I have already been using saunders and am going over the book. I am wondering how much time a day or week I should be devoting to this? I am still in school, and am trying to do the most constructive thing.

i'm working on her plan right after the day i took my nlcex-rn
