Hi,
I have become incredibky frustrated by the lack of information available to me.. I am a UK qualified (Adult nurse) I have been in the process of having my credentials reviewed by CGFNS.. 9 months in I am still none the wiser..
Are there any uk trained nurses working in NJ I would be grateful to hear from someone who had make up hours i order to register with nj, and how they went about doing it... Are there any nursing schools in nj/ny that allow this?
Can I just confirm-is it necessary/easier to find a job (after having credentials evaluated and passing the NCLEX) if you've had 2 or more years of experience as a qualified nurse? I thought I read that it was mandatory but I can't find that piece of information again. Thank you!
In relation to what?
Will a board of nursing expect you to have had at least two years of experience post qualification prior to submitting for a credential evaluation? Or is that something that employers will look at? Ive seen people mentioning how having a minimum of two years experience is beneficial due to the amount of unemployed newly qualified nurses in the US.

Experience is usually only required if you trained x amount of years ago but if graduated within 3-5 years usually BON ok. Experience may make you more appealing to employers
