this may not be the correct place to put my question. If not, it will be moved to a better place.
Someone I know has a hospital bed at home. Of course it is an ugly utilitarian piece of equipment.
What have you Home Health nurses seen when you go to homes? Have you seen any beds made so that they look like a regular bed?
I have not seen this bed, but depending on the brand/style, she may be able to use heavy fabric somehow to make it look more like an upholstered piece.
Any ideas would be appreciated.

Depending on how crafty one is, you can make ANYTHING more cozy, welcoming and home-friendly.
I like the idea of covering the ends with fabric to "upholster" them!:) Maybe bedrails too!

pieces of fitted foam with slipcovers.
of course you have to know how to sew.
