Can anyone tell me how long does it take to process an application in Makati Medical Center? Because Im planning to submit my resume this month of november...

And are there any special requirements that i need to have before applying?

hi diapersprinkles! may i ask from what school are you and did you have any work experience before you applied for MMC? it's good to hear that they don't require everyone to go through their CETN program before they are considered for hiring. thanks!

i didn't have any work experience before i applied at MMC... i'm a june 2008 passer and graduated from one of the top 10 nursing schools. that's what they told us... that those they got for direct hire belong to the top 10 performing schools. they also considered the board rating.

For those asking, I am typing the whole list of requirements and instructions posted at the Mezzanine of MMC:

Makati Medical Center

Competency Enhancement Training for Nurses

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS:

Photocopy of the following:

- Updated Curriculum Vitae/Resume

- Current PRC ID

- Board Rating and Board Certificate

- Transcript of Records with RLE

- BSN Diploma

- Good moral certification

- NBI clearance (current)

- Birth Certificate (NSO)

- 2 pieces 2x2 colored pictures (white background)

Training fee: P10,000 (3-month training program)

Reminders:

- INCOMPLETE requirements will not be accepted

hello everyone, i just recently passed the nov 2008 board exam and im interested to work in MMC. ive been reading about the cetn program, and im wondering if everyone has to undergo that?

umm diapersprinkles, did u apply for the cetn, but then they got u for direct hire? coz i also happen to have graduated from one of the top 10 performing schools. im hoping i will be as fortunate as u once i apply. i dont know my board rating yet tho. (i just passed! hehe!)

hi, may i ask where you submitted your requirements? its just that i live in Mindanao, and i was wondering if there is a way to pass the requirements online or through mail, or do i have to go all the way to Makati? thank you.

LOL, you don't have any way but to get there just to drop your requirements compiled in an envelope in their drop box. after dropping it, you can already go home. i'm sorry but i'm afraid that there's really no other way on applying except for the drop box stuff.:D

i dropped my application in the same box for cetn (there's no box for direct hire). they called me for interview. i thought it was for cetn but they told me it was for direct hire.

i've read you're from mindanao... try completing all the requirements for application first (cert of board rating, passing, transcripts, nbi clearance, birth cert, certificates, etc.) so that once you go here in manila, you could pass your application to a lot of hospitals. but most hospitals here require prc license.

may i ask though, can i send my requirments to someone in makati and have that person drop it in the dropbox? thats ok lang right? :) also, do they have a deadline for application? i might be too late :(

and yes, im currently working on my requirements (got my nbi license this morning, i look really shocked in my pic and im hoping the HR people wont take it against me hahhaa). i got the list of requirements from the previous posts. it didnt say anything about the prc license though... coz i think ill be getting that around june or july... tama ba? *sigh*...

btw, diaper sprinkles, since you got in already, (lucky you ^_^ ) may i ask how long is their contract? and is it terminable? :)

you can ask someone to drop it for you.. just make sure that you have completed the requirements. i don't think they have a deadline... the last time i went there, the drop box is still there.

they require the prc license... it's item #2 (Current PRC ID) on the list of requirements.

2 year contract... and we have to complete those 2 years.. but it's okay... i'm not in a hurry to go abroad anyway...

i submitted my requirements last November 10, they called me for an interview on November 21 but I am wasn't available that day. They called me last January 19 for interview.
