Maggot Debridement Therapy (MDT)

I'm doing a research paper for school. Has anyone had any experience with Maggot Therapy? If so, will you share your thoughts? Were caregivers (nurses, dr, PCT, etc) squeamish about applying the dressings? What did you patients think of the therapy?

I saw a show on TV about it once. They were interviewing nurses in Lithuania or Karzacistan or some European country about. Fascinating.

They would apply the maggots then put clear wrap over it to watch it. Once again, fascinating.

Call the suppliers and ask where they sell their, um, stock, and then call those hospitals and ask to speak to the wound care nurse.
