Hello everyone!!! Just submitted my application, have taken my HESI, all prerequisites are finished, now the waiting game begins. I was looking for people who were also on this journey.

Oh BTW already finished nutrition, psychology, and ethics so does that mean I will start sooner?

Will you start sooner than someone else with the exact same sites that didn't take them? Yes. Will you start sooner than someone with a higher GPA/HESI that took them already? No.

Potentially. They rank on those classes as well and I believe people who have them completed rank a little higher. And I would think people who did well in them rank the highest. I'm not sure though

Hello, I applied at Macomb College for 2016, and I received my letter yesterday.

Number of position Available 160

Number of ranked 304

Your admission Ranked 168

Do you guys have any idea how do they work with waiting list, or do you think I have chance to get in....

You should have been listed as an alternate, number 8 it looks like. I've heard of people being alternate number 11 and they got in. They didn't start until March, but they still got in. I wish I would have know what I was ranked. Did they tell you to come to the mandatory meeting? If so I would make sure you're there. Some people may not show up and that will get you closer to getting in. Good luck!!!

Anyone tried going to enrollment to get their rank? Someone mentioned earlier in the thread that they heard they weren't doing that anymore but nobody has confirmed.

When I went in and paid my deposit, I asked for my rank. They said they do not give out the ranks anymore. I was bummed. I am just hoping to get a better idea of when I will start.

From my underatanding you are alternate #8 make sure you go to the mandatory orientation! Previous years they made it all the way to alternate #15. Good luck!! Ohh and what are your scores you applied with if you don't mind me asking??
