Yep, I was sitting in the back row :)

Awesome. How was Monday's class? I missed it to go to the Tiger's game, which was pretty disappointing. What chapters did she cover?

As for the HESI, I don't plan to full on study until about three weeks before I take it but I'll be doing some brief overview throughout this semester. My semester at WSU ends roughly around December 17th and I'll be taking the HESI on January 8th.

I don't know if anyone went to the nursing seminar but the counselor there gave us some statistics about the bottom five students who were accepted into the program this Fall. The average HESI score was an 87.2 and the average GPA of the four pre-requisites was a 3.5.

After this semester, if I get an A in both class (fingers crossed!) then my GPA should be around a 3.7 as well. And then there is the HESI. I'm a little worried because I glanced over the vocabulary and grammar sections and I can't tell you how much it worries me. English is definitely not a strong subject for me so they'll probably be my most focused sections.

It would be great to have a few of us tackling the HESI together and share some tips/advice.

I am also taking the hesi on jan 8th ;) I would be more than happy to join you guys to study. I have made flash card for the vocabulary section. I did very poorly last time.

As is right now I have a gpa of 3.72 if I get an A in micro than I get to 4.0 so I'm really hoping for an A! And hesi I got an 81 last time ( bad ;( hopefully Ill better this time around.

I can't wait to get into the program!! I hope we get start it together!

Deanna I do not go on this often because of class. I assumed you didn't need the book anymore since you hadn't responded. I assume you have it already? Otherwise I still have it...

English is my worse subject too. Maybe some tips or tricks would help.

Still not sure what to expect on Monday's "quiz".

I've pretty much memorized every date and name from the power points. I glanced over the book since a lot of the information from the power points just overlap the information from the book.

I'm praying it will be easier than I'm anticipating it to be.

My suggestion would be to actually read the chapters. A lot of the test questions are from information in the reading rather than information in the powerpoints. The powerpoints are just a guideline.
